HOW TO IMPORT A FILE INTO YOUR WEB.

Open the web site you want to import into.
Go to File > Import
Click the Add File button, and browse to the
folder where the file is located
Select the file, (or folder) then click the Open
button. The file (or folder) is added to the list in
the Import dialog box. Repeat steps until you
have selected all the files you want, then click
the OK button.

NOTE: If you import a Microsoft Access
database (.mdb extension), you will be asked to
create a database connection and to store the
file in the fpdb folder. You can protect the
privacy of your database by moving it into the
fpdb folder, because permissions for this folder
specify that it can't be viewed in a Web browser.

DESIGNING FRONT PAGE THEMES AND
TEMPLATES

By Karey Cummins

Whether you are a new user or an old pro at
using FrontPage, you have probably seen some
of the themes and templates that come bundled
with the program.

Themes are easy and determine the
background, buttons, horizontal rule, bullets and
other graphics. They give your site a uniform
look and feel. Templates determine the actual
layout of your page such as where our text and
images are placed on each page. Bundling the
ease of themes with the powerful functionality of
templates allows you to create exciting web
sites easier than you thought possible.

While the standard FrontPage themes are fine
for beginners, at some point you are probably
going to want a site that looks a little bit more
professional and unique. This is where custom
designed theme and template packages come
into play.

Rather than thinking that themes are for
amateurs, why not design some of your own?
Round the Bend Wizards has put together a
tutorial on designing, creating, packaging, and
selling your own custom made theme and
template packages.

(see 'featured site' section below)

If you have a sense of color, a working
knowledge of an imaging program such as Paint
Shop Pro, and a dash of imagination, you can
be on your way to creating your own unique
works of art.

Who knows, you just might find a whole new
career. I did.

Publish Log Colors ADD-ON 1.0
http://anyfrontpage.com/rd/log.htm
This Add-in allows you to change the colors in
the Publish Log.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sort ADD-ON for Microsoft FrontPage
http://anyfrontpage.com/rd/sort.htm
You can sort text, numbers, or data in
ascending order (A to Z, zero to 9, or earliest to
latest date) in lists or tables. Or, you can sort in
descending order (Z to A, 9 to zero, or latest to
earliest date). This add-in sorts Tables, lists,
Paragraphs and Fields as well. This add-in
recognizes the following as valid date
separators: hyphens, forward slashes (/),
commas, periods and colons (:) as valid time
separators.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jimco ADD-ON UPDATES

New versions use a Jimco Add-ins menu
on the Tools menu in FrontPage. First uninstall
your existing add-ins. Then download and
install the new version to get rid of multiple
menus and to move the Jimco Add-ins menu to
the Tools menu.

These new add-ins will have a "(NM)" next to
their name on the Add-ins page on our site.

Utilities QuickBar 3.0 - UPDATED ADD-ON
http://jimcosoftware.com/
Jimco Add-ins offers two excellent utilities for
FrontPage. QuickBar gives you quick and easy
access to your FrontPage Webs while Publisher
allows you to easily schedule publishing and
recalculating your FrontPage Webs.

Space Replacer (NM) NEW ADD-ON
http://jimcosoftware.com/
This add-in replaces spaces in file and folder
names with an underscore character.

Clean Table (NM) NEW ADD-ON
http://jimcosoftware.com/
For FrontPage 2002 only. Clean Table removes
the "AutoNumber" ID attribute from tables when
pages are saved. If you've added your own ID
attribute, Clean Table will not remove it.

IMPORTANT: If you install this add-in on a
machine running FrontPage 2000, you may
experience errors in FrontPage 2000. This
add-in is not compatible with FrontPage 2000.

No New Page 3.0 - UPDATED
http://jimcosoftware.com/
This add-in will prevent the new_page_#.htm that
FrontPage automatically creates for you.

IMPORTANT: Because of the way FrontPage
works, this add-in will cause any new pages that
you create to be automatically closed if you
switch away from the FrontPage window and
then back to it before the page is changed or
saved. To prevent this, simply make any change
(even a single space) or save the new pages
before you switch away from FrontPage.

Michael wrote to us "While the Spam prevention

do strongly advocate trying to protect your email
