We value and respect your privacy. We have developed this privacy page to detail exactly what is and is not done with the information you share with us.

AnyFrontPage is determined to bring you the latest and the best information to help you use Microsoft FrontPage. Our community interactive ezine AnyFrontPage Bytes (formerly known as AnyBackPage Bytes and otherwise referred to as AFP Bytes) offers expert FrontPage articles, breaking FrontPage news, free resources, contests and competitions for FrontPage webmasters and newbies.

This means we must sometimes collect information such as your email address to answer your questions and to deliver your AFP Bytes issue to you. We may also request your contact information when you submit your opinions about AFP Bytes, our ebooks, software and other products.

What Information is Collected:

AnyFrontPage, collects certain information from and about its users in two ways - directly from the user and from our Web server logs.

User-Supplied Information: When you sign up for a service, such as AnyFrontPage Bytes Ezine, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, and some other information (possibly your website URL or the version of FrontPage that you are using). When you sign up for our contests or drawings or sign our guestmap, we may ask similar things. When you buy something from our Window Shopping section, we must ask for payment information.

Server Log Information: Internet Web sites collect certain information about you, such as your Internet [Protocol] (IP) address, the time of your visit, and the referring location (e.g., the Site or page that offered a link to AnyFrontPage.com)

Cookies are not used to store or track your information. We feel there is a valid use of cookies for storing of passwords, etc. which save users time and add convenience to a site. AnyFrontPage does not have need of this as we do not have sign in sections for members. Should that change, we will adapt this Privacy Page to clearly let you know.

How and When Information is Used:

Winners of our drawings and contests will be announced in AFP Bytes and on the the AnyFrontPage site. Email addresses will be used to notify the winners but will not be posted with the announcements.

Payment information is used for payment verification only and is not retained. Credit Card information is requested only by Paypal when ordering our e-books.

Information from the web-server logs is used for administration purposes, such as determining the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. AnyFrontPage, also uses the information from our web-server logs to better understand our Web site viewing audience. The type of web browsers most in use is important for determining our FrontPage articles and resources. As you can see, this type of information is general and not specific, but it does help us to bring you relevance in your AFPBytes.

How We Protect Your Information:

The privacy and protection of your personal information is vitally important to us. AnyFrontPage does not make personal information available to any third parties without your permission. Any user statistics that are collected by our web-server logs, are provided in the aggregate only and do not include any personally identifiable information about any individual user.

Who Has Access to the Information:

Except as listed above (announcement of winners, completing payment transactions, etc.), AnyFrontPage will not willfully disclose any individually identifiable information about its users to any third party without first receiving that user's permission.

Please be aware that anytime you voluntarily disclose personal information online, such as in chat rooms, through e-mail, etc., your information can be collected and used by others.
